Pegasus Launches New Industry Blog, “Pegged”
DALLAS (July 26, 2007) – Pegasus Solutions, Inc. today announced it has launched its new industry blog, “Pegged” http://blog.pegs.com.

Pegged was created as an open forum for Pegasus’ hospitality and technology experts to share their thoughts about hot industry topics, events or news. Pegasus has a range of subject matter experts who will be contributing posts to Pegged and this was one of the primary reasons for launching the blog according to Chip Rosales, Pegasus vice-president, corporate marketing and communications.

“Pegasus is a company comprised of leaders with deep-rooted experience in both the hospitality and technology industries so it made perfect sense to create an open forum for them to communicate their thoughts on the issues that are top of mind,” said Rosales. “Social media has gained increasing importance in the hospitality industry over the past couple of years and it is something our customers understand and respond to. It is our hope this will become a place for leaders across the industry to come and participate in discussion.”

The first post offers an introduction to the blog and includes a recap of the Pegasus survey, distributed at this year’s HITEC in Orlando, Fla., that gauged what others in the hospitality industry think will be key trends in the upcoming year.
