Pegasus Solutions to Introduce RezView® NG at HITEC
The Next Generation in Hospitality Technology Services Debuting at Booth #343

DALLAS (June 26, 2007) – Pegasus Solutions, Inc.
will introduce the next generation of its
hospitality technology platform , RezView® NG, at
HITEC in Orlando, Fla., June 25 through 28.
Representing one of the industry’s first major
overhauls to the central reservation system (CRS) in
years, Pegasus’ revamped RezViewNG CRS has been
designed to meet the evolving business requirements
of today’s hotel.
Pegasus’ newest CRS offering will provide customers
with consistent views of data through convergence of
CRS, PMS and Web functionality. An efficient
technology platform capable of deploying multiple
technologies, RezViewNG allows timely extraction of
data for reporting. The product also reduces
complexity when deploying new technologies, thus
increasing speed to develop new functionality. This
agility is key to maintaining a competitive edge,
according to Mike Kistner, Pegasus chief operating
officer and president, reservation and distribution
services.
“With a CRS service that has proven, deep rooted
functionality and the software and technology
purchased through our acquisition of GuestClick,
Pegasus is breaking through to a new way of
providing customers with improved scalability and
next generation capabilities,” said Kistner.
“RezViewNG combines the stability of Pegasus’
existing CRS platform with new, centralized
functionality.”
RezViewNG provides chains, independents and
representation companies easy access with a Web
browser that serves as a flexible entry point, and
Web shopping with simplified inventory searching.
Additionally, the product offers content/property
management with multi-property visibility and
accountability; rate management; CRS inventory
services with a single screen for inventory status,
restrictions, and rate levels; and multiple
third-party interface connections.
Besides housing the infrastructure to develop the
product, Kistner added that Pegasus is also uniquely
positioned to deploy a next generation CRS.
“Through Pegasus’ extensive network of more than
9,300 independent hotels represented through Utell®
Hotels and Resorts and Unirez by Pegasus ™, we can
manage a staggered migration to RezViewNG for each
of our clients based on size and need,” said Kistner.
“By the time our largest hotel clients transition,
we’ll have coordinated numerous successful
installations.”
RezViewNG will be demonstrated at booth #343 at
HITEC. Additionally, it will be unveiled at a launch
event Tuesday, Jun. 26 at 7 p.m. in the Rosen
Center.
